Rabbi Jacob J. Schacter is the founding Dean of the Rabbi Joseph B. Soloveitchik Institute in Boston and serves as Rabbi of the Jewish Center in New York City. The author of numerous articles and reviews and editor of several books, Rabbi Schacter is currently completing a new Hebrew edition of the autobiography of Rabbi Jacob Emden, as well as a book featuring the Tisha B'Av teachings of Rabbi Soloveitchik.
