Aviezer Ravitzky is the Saul Rosenblum Chair of Jewish Philosophy and Chair of the Department of Jewish Thought at Hebrew University. He has served on the Israel Prize committee of judges and is a Senior Fellow at the Israel Democracy Institute. Ravitzky is the author of several books including Messianism, Zionism and Jewish Religious Radicalism, History and Faith: Studies in Jewish Philosophy and, most recently, Freedom Inscribed (Hebrew).
