Jerry Hochbaum has served as Executive Vice President of the Memorial Foundation for Jewish Culture since 1971. He earned a doctorate in Sociology from New York University and has held professorships at Yeshiva University and New York University. Dr. Hochbaum has served as a consultant in communal affairs for Jewish communities around the United States, and has advised overseas Jewish communities on five continents regarding issues in education, culture, community development and community relations. He is the author of numerous monographs and articles on Jewish subjects.
